Asset Recovery: Phase 1

The first stages of the comprehensive Asset Recovery process include receipt, auditing and testing.

Receipt

We're pleased to talk with you about your e-waste, determine its condition and configuration, and provide you with a quote for Asset Recovery. During this process, we'll discuss logistics or shipping, and what's most convenient for you or your company. Here are the general guidelines we use:

For 1-25 assets (computers or other electronic equipment), we provide our customers with shipping labels for boxes of not more than 20"x20"x20" and weighing not more than 50 pounds for pick-up or drop-off services. If packages do not meet these size and weight requirements, additional rates may apply.
For 25 or more assets, we'll customize a shipping solution for you or your company.

Fee Structure

1-25 Assets

$25/asset for drop-off transportation service
$35/asset for items picked up by the transportation provider at your location

25 or more Assets

$10/asset, plus freight costs
$0.35/lb., plus freight costs for scrap asset lots

Auditing

We take this part very seriously, as our technology-savvy team captures general information about each asset and meticulously documents what they find. We create a receipt report for you, documenting the entire lot of assets to be recovered.

Testing

This process is important, as it uncovers any recovery value associated with your lot of assets. Our team tests each computing item, including desktop computers, notebooks and tablets, capturing specifications and functionality of the individual piece. Using these specifications, we're able to determine monetary recovery value for each item, which is returned to you.
