Newport provides you with detailed, on-time reporting. Our flexible database can be easily customized to meet each clients needs.
A final Settlement Report includes a detailed description and itemization of equipment, the product value (if applicable), and all audit fees and/or disposal fees. View Sample Report Clients can easily make all their disposal/resale decisions based on this report.
The Settlement Report includes:
- Manufacturer
- Model The manufacturer's model number
- Asset Number A company's internal identification of a product
- Serial Number An item's unique identification, typically created at time of manufacture
- System Type A basic description of the product
- Detail Columns These columns describe the item in detail. They include:
- - Processor Type The CPU type and speed
- - Screen Size Display screen size
- - Memory The amount of RAM in a system
- - FDD Indicates presence of Floppy Drive
- - HD Indicates presence of Hard Drive, and HD size if applicable
- - CD ROM Indicates presence of CD ROM drive
- - Weight Weight of items that will be charged Disposal Fee
- Cosmetic Grade An indication of the condition or current marketability of the item
- Comments Additional comments if necessary
- Actual Unit Value Current Market Value of the item, as outlined in our monthly Value Grid sheet
- Audit Fee Fee charged for audit service, as outlined in Fee Sheet provided to customers
- Destruction Fee Fee charged for compliant destruction/disposal of the item, as outlined in Certificate of Destruction. This fee is separate from any service fees, if applicable.
Summaries
- Net Fees The total fees (audit service fees and destruction/disposal fees) owed for an item, if no value realized.
- Net Value The actual value of an item, after subtracting fees
- Net Total The difference of Net Fees and Net Value. A positive Net Total reflects the dollar amount owed to the customer. A negative Net Total reflects the dollar amount owed to Newport.
