Newport Computer Services (NCS) Return Merchandise Authorization Policy

Products may be returned for replacement or credit within 90 days of purchase.

  1. A Replacement product will be shipped to the customer after the defective product has been received. NO CASH REFUNDS. If no replacement part is available then an account credit will be given.


  2. Before returning any item back to NCS, a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) must be obtained by completing an RMA request form (available in either PDF format or Excel format. Or you may email your request to: rma@newportcomputers.com

  3. RMA numbers are good for 10 days after issuance. RMA’s received after that time will be refused. Customer must call to receive new RMA number if the 10 day time period has lapsed.


  4. The RMA Number and Date must be written in visible location on the return box or on the return shipping label.


  5. Ship your returned product(s) to NCS using the carrier of your choice. We suggest that you select a method with ability to trace shipment. NCS is not responsible for shipments for which the carrier cannot provide proof of delivery.


  6. The customer is responsible for freight on the return of all product back to NCS. No COD or collect shipments will be accepted. Shipments arriving at NCS with charges due are subject to being returned (unrepaired) with all charges, including return expenses, due and payable by the originator.


  7. Use original packing when possible.


  8. Enclose each motherboard, graphics card, and optical drive in an ESD (electrostatic discharge) bag.


  9. Warranty is void if any seal or label is removed or damaged.


  10. If your product is under NCS warranty, NCS will pay for shipment of repair/replacement products from NCS to you .


  11. You must pay all applicable duties and customs charges for shipments to and from NCS.
